When the weather is cold and you’re craving for a hot bowl of Sinigang Sa Miso cooked with Tilapia, and you want it fast, then here is the right recipe for you.

Ingredients
    Ingredients for Sinigang Sa Miso Tilapia
  • 2 Medium-sized Tilapia (Clean. Removed entrails scales. Cut into 2 pieces per fish.)
  • 350 g Mustasa AKA Mustard Greens
  • 2 Siling Haba (pangsigang) AKA Banana Pepper, Yellow Wax Pepper, Banana Chili
  • 7 clove Fresh Garlic (Minced.)
  • 1 Thumb-size of Fresh Ginger (Minced.)
  • 1 Medium to Large-sized Onion (Chopped.)
  • 1 Large Tomato (Sliced.)
  • 2 tbsp Fish Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Canola Oil
  • 1 l Water
  • 1 Packet of Sinigang Sa Miso (Each packet's NET WT is 23 grams.)

    Heat the pot and add the oil. Using a stainless steel saucepan will make your cooking experience easier and the process quicker.

    • Saute aromatics: garlic to a golden brown, followed by ginger and onion (to translucent), and finally tomato.
    • Bring in the fish and cover the saucepan for 2 minutes.
    • Now, pour in the water. Boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
    • Take the Sinigang sa Miso Mix packet and pour its content into the saucepan. Also, add the yellow wax pepper or Siling Haba with the ingredients. Simmer for 5 minutes.
    • Put the fish sauce and Mustasa. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
    • Our Sinigang sa Miso Tilapia is now ready.
    • Serve hot.
