How to Make Maruya Saging Saba Recipe
-
Preparing the Saba Banana
- Carefully peel off the banana's skin from its flesh by using a knife.
- Fan the bananas and make at least three pieces out of every banana.
- Set aside.
Be very careful when using sharp knives. -
How to Make the Maruya Mix
- In a small mixing bowl, mix the dry ingredients, i.e., all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, salt. Mix them well.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg together with the evaporated milk and vanilla extract. Also, add the sesame seeds into the mixture. Beat them well.
- Now, pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients.
- Using a whisk (if you don’t have one, use a fork instead), mix all the ingredients. Whisk them well.
- Set aside.
Having a busy schedule, there are times that you want to do everything quickly. A solution is to mix all the ingredients (except the banana and oil) to lower the preparation time and save you water and dishwashing soap on clean up time. -
